Next LEVEL 24 Basketball Training Series
Learn how to become a leader of your team by understanding the game from the coach’s clipboard. Learn how to communicate with your teammates, understand who on your team are the shooters, the ball handlers, etc. Start to build court awareness and understand what you need to do to become a player and teammate. Become the player you have dreamed about of always becoming.
This series will hold scholar athletes accountable and challenges them to work on their craft and pushes them to get to the next level.
BEGINNER SKILLS & DRILLS
Have fun, smile, learn, and enjoy your teammates!
Learn fundamental movement skills and build overall motor skills through participating a detailed training program. Our Introductory Skills & Drills will be concentrated on Triple Threat possibilities, basic ball handling, basic passing, right and left-hand lay-ups, shooting fundamentals, basic defensive stance, and body movement, etc.
At end of each month each scholar athlete will go through a series of skill challenges to measure their comprehension of the training fundamentals to determine if they should stay at their current level or move to the next level of the training program.
Recommended Sessions for Level 1 - Beginners:

Beginner Skills Training: Sessions will utilize innovative drills to improve dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, and agility (footwork). The sessions are 1-hour long and are designed for those new to the sport or with little experience.
Basic Ball Handling: Will concentrate on the fundamental areas that will help in the areas of the basketball. Basic Ball Handling works on developing right and left-hand control, developing hand-eye coordination, etc.
Basic Shooting: Is designed to develop a scholar athlete's shooting form and technique. It is our goal to create muscle memory as scholar athletes take shooting from the basics, work it through a step-by-step breakdown of a jump shot and work through the proper fundamentals of right and left hand lay ups.
Fundamentals of Defense: Is the first part of becoming the Ultimate Defender. Scholar athletes will learn proper body and hand positioning, how to properly slide and use hand positioning to defend the pass and crossover, work on defensive first step, etc.
FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS & DRILLS
At this level, players will continue to develop into a complete player. Our Foundational Skill & Drill program is the next level to our training series program and is great for those scholar athletes that have some experience, want to play club ball, want to play on their school team or just want to improve their individual skills. We will focus more on the development of individual skills.
At end of each month each scholar athlete will go through a series of skill challenges to measure their comprehension of the training fundamentals to determine if they should stay at their current level or move to the next level of the training series program.

Intermediate Skills Training: Will pick up the pace and introduce more aspects of the game. Our focus will be on the fundamentals - ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, and agility (footwork).
Ball Handling: Will focus on controlling the basketball and locking in on overall ball control in passing and shooting. We will continue to develop the right- and left-hand ball control, develop hand-eye coordination, use body and footwork to enhance the ball handling effects, etc.
Shooting Fundamentals: Is the next step in the shooting progression. At this level scholar athletes will learn step-by-step how to perform a Pull Up Jumper, Step Back, Floaters, etc. Scholar athletes will also work on how to increase their overall shooting range.
Scoring Basics: Is designed to teach our scholar athletes "moves" to score. Introduction to basic moves like the Euro Step, Spin Move, Floater, etc. Members will work their mid-range, finishing moves and counter moves. Come and learn the importance of having various "moves" in your game.
Defense Essentials: Is designed to introduce the fundamentals of being a shutdown defender. Scholar athletes will learn proper body and hand positioning, how to properly slide and use hand positioning to defend pass and crossover and work on defensive first step. Players will also work on proper box out techniques for rebounding.
ADVANCED SKILLS & DRILLS
In this section we ramp up the training series and began to develop the player to be elite. These sessions and programs challenge scholar athletes, both physically and mentally, to push themselves to meet their basketball goals and objectives. If it is to be a leader of their team, play at the high school level or just to become a better player - these workouts will get them there.

Advanced skills training: Will focus on all areas of the game with a high concentration on ball handling. Next Level moves to the advanced drills by implementing tools like tennis balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and heavy balls. Maneuvers like reverse lay ups, pocket passes, and all areas of the screen and roll, etc. will be covered in these sessions.
Ball Handling & Passing: Series our scholar athletes will learn the advance drills to execute dribbling moves such as wrap-arounds, advanced hesitation moves, etc.. Perform proper passing moves like the no-look pass, behind the back, alley-oop, etc. Focus is more on body placement and control.
Advance Shooting: Series: Scholar athletes will work on shooting drills to improve a quicker release, making shoots at a high rate, ball placement, body control, balance, and power. Players also begin to perform advanced game time shots like the step back sidestep, scoring off the dribble, catch and turnaround jump shots.
Advanced Scoring: Is about the moves and techniques to increase in game scoring. Moves like tip-ins, Rondo Series, Finger Roll, Pick and Roll options, and more will be covered in this program. Be ready to "Read and React" and learn the importance of adding various “moves” to your game.
Becoming the Ultimate Defender: Is what this program is all about. We build on footwork, body, and hand positioning, reading, and identifying opponents’ tendencies, how to anticipate a players next move, etc. Defense is about ATTITUDE - learn how to become a smart and aggressive defensive player.
PERFORMANCE ELITE TRAINING (INVITE ONLY)
Elite Training is an invite only class that is reserved for those Elite players planning to take their game to college and beyond. Tools to keep up with the fast pace of collegiate and the pro level game. Scholar athletes will learn about goal setting, discussions on nutrition and conditioning outside of the gym. This class focuses on both the physical and mental side of the game.
