For nearly 24 years, Jason Kent has coached and trained student athletes at all levels of competition as a head coach and assistant men’s basketball coach in the NCAA, NAIA, AAU basketball and boys’ high school basketball.  More than 20 of his former student athletes have moved on to play professional basketball.

Coach Kent specializes in recruitment, player development, mentoring, and strength & conditioning.  By instilling hard work ethic, determination and discipline in his coaching and training technique, Jason is known for his ability to maximize abilities and propel students to their full athletic potential. Coach Kent is a Scout, Gold license USA Basketball Repersentive, partnered with the Jr. NBA,  Lead Clinician with Breakthrough Basketball and a SDC Scholarship Camp Director for Chicago. "My goal is to ensure that the athletes who decide to train with Next LEVEL 24 are developed into players who make an impact on their teams." Says Coach Kent. 

Coach Kent and his wife Anna have two children; Jayson and Janae.

ANTHONY KENT ( Co - Fouder) 

Anthony Kent, Co-Founder of NextLEVEL 24 and brother of Coach Jason Kent. Anthony played his high school ball at Columbus Whetstone in Columbus, Ohio and completed his Collegiate career at Ball State University. 

After college Anthony went on to play professional basketball in Bordeaux France where he spent two years and then was picked by the NBA G League Fort Wayne Mad Ants where he spent two years. Anthony would go on to play for two other teams in NBA G League teams, the Maine Red Claws and the Westchester Knicks. After playing in the NBA G League for 4 years Anthony played two years in Japan. Anthony is currently playing in Argentina, where he has been at for the past three seasons. 

Anthony insight and knowledge of the game of basketball is valuable to the overall development of those athletes who train and participate in NextLEVEL 24 programing.  







ANNA KENT (Director of Basketball Operations & AAU President)

Anna Kent servers as Next Level 24’s Director of Basketball Operations and helps manage the organization’s day-to-day affairs.  Anna also servers as one of NextLEVEL 24's skills trainer who has dedicated herself on emphasizing on the importance of fundamentals in her training sessions, while enhancing a players’ basketball IQ and overall game knowledge.  Ann is a former NCAA Division l student athlete, head women’s basketball coach and a 20-year veteran in college athletics administration, compliance and operations.  "I am excited to have my Anna apart for our program and her experience, organization and her drive to help other is a quality that will enhance everything we do here at NextLEVEL 24," says Coach Kent. 

Anna played and graduated from West Virginia University where she help lead her team to the Sweet 16 and a number of victories throughout her playing career. Anna earned her B.S. and continued her education receiving a M.S. in Sports Administrations.

Anna is wife of NextLevel 24 Coach Jason Kent and they have two children; Jayson and Janae. 



Jordan Fair is in his 3 year after having a very successful playing career at Wheeling Jesuit University (NCAA D2). During his junior season Jordan help Wheeling Jesuit University become the number #1 ranked team overall in the country! Jordan followed up his senior season with an appearance in the elite 8 of the NCAA tournament.

Jordan overseas the NextLEVEL 24 Clinics and small group training sessions from ages 4 to 18.  “Jordan brings a lot of energy to NextLevel 24 and I am excited to have him apart of our program. Those individuals who train with Jordan will develop, learn, and become a skilled athlete,” says Coach Kent. 

 Jordan graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University with a degree in communications and is the brother of Owner Coach Jason Kent.



The NextLEVEL 24 Family is excited to have one of it’s own to come back and take on a coaching and training role. Diamond Beatty was the first young lady to train to with Coach Kent and NextLEVEL 24. “Diamond will bring a wealth of knowledge to our organization and will play a instrumental role in working with our young ladies. Diamond understands what it takes to play at the highest level and will be a great role model for everyone she interacts with”, says Coach Kent. 

Diamond played her high school basketball at Tinley Park High School.  While at Tinley Park Diamond was a three-time all-conference selection, as well as a three-time team MVP... As a senior, averaged 19 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game...Scored over 1,000 points in her career, including 568 as a senior while shooting 44 percent from three-point range... Named to the All-Area team... Selected for the Class 3A All-Star game... Holds the school record for the second-most points scored in a single game with 40. Diamond earned herself a  full athletic scholarship to Tennessee State University.

Diamond played all four year at Tennessee State University, Finishing her senior year as the team’s third leading scorer… Led the team in three-point field goal percentage (.358) and made three-point field goals (49) while ranking 10th in the OVC in both categories…. Ranked 15th in the league in steals with 1.3 per game… Averaged 8.8 ppg and scored in double-digits 11 times… Registered a career-high 23 points vs Arkansas State (11/19/16)… Shot at least 50 percent from three-point range in five games… Knocked down at least one triple in all but eight games this season… Pulled down 2.5 rebounds while dishing out 1.5 assists per outing. 

Diamond left Tennessee State University with an Ohio Valley Conference Championship and a Trip to the NCAA Tournament. Diamond Beatty is a winner and a person who strives for greatness. Diamond graduated with her degree in Physical Therapy this past spring. We would like to welcome Diamond Beatty to the NextLEVEL 24 family.


Tierra Webb-  Tierra Webb has joined the NextLEVEL 24 staff after completing a successful college-playing career at the Indiana State University. Tierra is the third player who has trained under Coach Kent and returned to work for NextLEVEL24. 

“Tierra has had a number of victories throughout her collegiate career and will play a major roll in developing our girls basketball division here at NextLEVEL 24,” says Coach Kent. When one looks at Tierra’s basketball resume they will see her sucess. During her senior year she played in all 30 games, starting in 29, scoring 234 points (7.8 per game) and bringing down 87 rebounds (2.9 per game)…Shot .307 (71-for-231) from the field, .196 (18-for-92) from beyond the arc and .655 (74-for-113) from the free throw line…Finished the season ranked fifth in The Valley in steals (1.5 per game)…Totaled 54 assists, 10 blocks and 45 steals on the year…Reached double digits on 11 separate occasions including with a season-high 16 points both against Missouri S&T (11/28) and at Loyola Chicago (1/26)…Brought down a season-high eight rebounds at Southern Illinois (3/1)…Registered a season and career-high two blocks against Loyola Chicago (2/25)…Twice was credited with a season-high four assists including against Butler (12/21) and at Loyola Chicago (1/26)…Tallied a season-high four steals on four separate occasions including at UIC (11/30), against Central Michigan (12/9), against Bradley (1/19), at Valparaiso (1/28) and at Missouri State (3/3)…Named to the Spring 2018 Dean’s List.

Tierra overeas NextLEVEL 24 Skills and Drills Academys and help runs all of NextLEVEL 24 Basketball Camps. Tierra has a great understandig of the game and can help take a athletes game to the next level. 

JON CALHOUN (Strength & Conditioning)

Jon Calhoun  is NextLEVEL 24's strength and conditioning Coach. Jon is another former player of Coach Kent and who has decided to come back and work with NextLEVEL 24 in the effort to developing the whole athlete. “Jon is going to impact the lives and bodies of student athletes that he comes in contact with. I am excited about rolling out our new strength and conditioning program and I believe Jon will truly take this program to the NextLEVEL, says Coach Kent.”

Jon was a four-year starting point guard for the Monmouth College Scots. Despite going through a tough two years while the Scotts were in their rebuilding phase, Calhoun helped the Scotts enter the Conference playoffs for the first time in 20years his junior and senior year. Jon was able to walk away from Monmouth College with a bachelor degree in Kinesiology. Post his graduation; Jon obtained three more certifications in the health field. With a platform of certifications such as: Nasm CPT, Intrinsic Motion Level 1 biomechanics analysis, and American Heart Association child & adult cpr/aed certification, Calhoun set out to expand and use his education to help his community. He has several years of experience working with a wide range of clientele. From student athletes, general public and to working professionals, Jon has provided customized training plans to fit the specific needs of each individual. As a former collegiate athlete, Jon learned early on that fitness is both mental and physical. This along with a passion for helping others inspired him to pursue a career.
